Customer Support Associate

Metal Networks is seeking a Customer Support Associate to help support our customers using our industry leading SaaS products. This position will be responsible for customer technical support and the training associated with our Seller, Procurement and GMEX software platforms.

Location: Austin, TX

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound support calls via phone, email, and internet
  • Participate in quality and requirements management activities
  • Engage directly with customer to perform product deployments
  • Troubleshoot individual problems and handle issues through to resolution


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Written and verbal skills; excellent phone manner
  • Firm grasp of how the web works, networking, and software products
  • Resolving escalated customer complaints without the need for team lead intervention
  • Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps
  • Participation in providing training to customers as required

Nice to Have

(Applicants with these skills will be given higher preference, but these skills are not required to qualify for the position):

  • Web development, or programming in any language
  • Systems Engineering experience
  • Familiarity with the buying and selling of Industrial Metals
